This was my lunch today! i made seafood (shrimps & crabmeat) omelet. I was scared that it woulden't turn out good, but it turned out delish!! I wanted everyone to taste it :)

I don't feel like making this a big post so.. Hmmm i've been feeling down these couple of days, but today was a good day, i'm happy i took a good decision by changing my education (international law) to MER (management, economie en recht) i really like my classes, and the communication among students is way better. International law was too much for me, and i coulden't follow the classes well, and nor did i understood the literature.

Still in aruba; had ups and downs during our trip, nine more days to go.

Why do i own a twitter account??? such waste of time.. oh yeah i remember now. I hope this post turns into an actual "update" because in less than two weeks i'll be heading to aruba, and i really update this every so often with multiple posts at the same time..

I have mix feelings about the trip/ vacation (?) we're actually going because my mom wants to take care of personal stuff, and she kinda "forced" into going with her, and eventually i gave in. So it isn't going to be like a vacation, and since when is going home turned into a vacation? IDK.

But honestly i'm looking foward to taking alot of pictures, going to the beach and seeing my sisters. So, i'll stop here, and not complain or expect anything about this trip. We'll just going to have to see how things will go.

Next week is my last week of work, and i cannot wait for my 3 weeks off!!! I haven't quit my job yet, not yet. I think i need the 3 weeks off to make that decision fully.

I saw Lucy Li yesterday and we walked into the city; she had to buy a gift for a 80 year old woman, she succeed, she bought a scarf (hell, i wouldn;t know what a 80 year old woman would like as a gift) but i'm glad i helped pick the scarf out. We caught up a bit and she told me that she was going to show me a place where i can eat "real chinese food". Lucy Li is a fun girl, so it should be fun.

And also i want to make over my bedroom, give it some splash of paint, new furnitures etc. I know that i will be staying in Holland the upcoming four years because of school, and i might aswell make my bedroom pleasant. Here some examples ( i like the colors/ atmosphere or objects )

I have a tiny bedroom, and not near enough the amount of those books, i do own a few, but they're mostly schoolbooks!! But this bookshelf is giving me some ideas, and trip to IKEA might just bring my ideas into practise. Self note: purchase a library card anytime soon.

I saw this drawer on IKEA.nl, and when i come from aruba, i really have to make that trip! :D
Also would like to add that my current new obsession is: photobooth pictures, there's one at r'dam central station, and i'm going to ask everyone to take pictures with me.

On tuesday i sat with my mom before the tv, to watch Michael Jackson's memorial. When i saw his casket, the tears just streamed down my face, and i felt my stomache sink, then it finally hit me that he really was dead. I was in shock when i heard the news of his passing, i remember exactly where i was; i just returned from nijmegen after visiting keyla for the very first time, i was in the train somewhere near gouda going to rotterdam, and keyla sent me a message that michael jackson had just died and that it wasn't a joke; in denial and shock, i just really coulden't believe it, i refused to believe it, really. When i got home, i directly went online to check some sites. I also opened my email; and found a message from my teacher; saying that he read my essay wich said that i was a big michael jackson fan and gave me condoleances. I cried, it hit me then too, but i quickly tried to change my feelings, by watching CNN, and hoping that this was all a mistake.

It's really so hard to comprehend that on june 25th you write an essay saying that you're a michael jackson fan, and five hours later he dies. And a month before his death, you're planning on going to his concerts in london, watching and laughing at his private home movies and listening and dancing to his music in the livingroom. Just two weeks before his death, i was just saying how much i loved him and singing and dancing to his songs infront of everyone in the classroom.

Michael jackson was a part of my childhood, i always loved him. He was amazing!! I think i was like 4/5/6 years old seeing michael for the first time on tv, and i fell in love with him at once. I told my mom and she laughed, and also told me that he always grabbed his crotch because it was too heavy. His singing/ dancing/ style just mesmorized me. It's really incredible when you think about how much impact he had on you, like he engraved himself in your thoughts.

Me and my sister always used to sing and dance to his songs, before we even knew how to speak english properly. And i used to love it. It's an early childhood memory i have of my sister, before she got into other interests and stopped hanging/ playing with me because i was "uncool" and she turned into a teenager. We used to love free willy, and watch it everytime it was on tv! and we also loved the soundtrack, wich we sang mostly out loud not knowing the words to. When i saw moonwalker for the very first time, it amazed me; the movie/ the singing and dancing, and i still like it today. As a child; i really believed that michael could become into animals and robots, he was like magic to me. And what he did was magic, therefor i love him always.

Michael jackson's memorial. It was so beautiful yet sad, i cried thoroughly. When i saw his casket, it hit me so hard, and i still get teary eyed when i think about it :(

Paris was so brave, standing up there, Michael would've been so proud of her. You can actually see that his children loved him, and that he loved his children too, and raised them well! Awww at blanket sobbing at the end :(.

Al sharpton spoke true words!!! I loved his speech, and i also love that he told his children the following; "There was nothing strange about your daddy. It was strange what your daddy had to deal with, but he dealt with it." I agree so much!!!!

Usher performance was beautiful! i liked that he went to Michael's mom and kissed her hand. So beautiful.

i also liked Jermaine performance, i read that he and Michael were really close when they were little from Michael's book "moonwalker". And you can see him holding back his tears, and i felt so much for him, and i hoped that he didn't broke down on stage. But he delivered his performance beautifully.

The only thing that i didn't approve was promoting Shaheen during the service. I liked that he sang, he performed well, but i found a bit unnecessary both; the promoting and performance.

All and all it was a beautiful memorial, i liked that everyone remained respectful and simple. And it has brought me closure, and i now understand some things more better, like why people would want a public viewing etc.

And really it doesnt matter if Michael was their biological father or not, they loved him, and he loved them very much. My heart goes out to his children and family!

I dreamt last night about being back in aruba, and actually having a life there. My dream felt more like a vision, a futuristic view on what i want to do with my life in the years to come.
In my dreams, i was at the beach with people, some friends, some families, and in my dream i was taking pictures of them and the surroundings. So, i woke up this morning, knowing that photography is still my passion. In the future, i hope to travel alot, take pictures of places and people, having each of my concept come to live in a picture, so it can be forever immortalised.

At this point, i really don't know what is worse; feeling depressed or the constant anxiety. Believing that depression is mixture of all negative moods, i can't seem to put a finger on it; in it's case it's all denial. I really don't know, but i sure do hate these fucking mood swings. One minute i feel as if i'm the happiest person on the face of the earth, the next minute anxiety sets in, and i get really terrified of dying, wich leaves me dwelling upon somber thoughts, and the bittersweet of it all is; i knowing, that there's really no need to search for something, that's already inside of me. There's no need of a search for courage, happiness nor hope, because it's within me, same as death. And i feel it when i'm high on the bad stuff, underneath the sadness burning in my chest, there's death, we carry it in our lives, same as we carry our feelings, moods, emoties and moments. It's what i believe right now.

The curious case of Benjamin Button

I saw The curious case last night, and it was really amazing. Benjamin Button, born in 1918 in New Orleans as a baby with wrinkles, cataracts, and arthritis. Benjamin will age backwards, getting younger as he watches those around him growing older and passing. Included in that group are his adoptive mother, Queenie (Taraji P. Henson), and Daisy (Cate Blanchett), the love of his life whom he meets when she is just a little girl and he is an old man. They age in reverse, but despite Benjamin's globe-trotting adventures, their lives repeatedly intersect.

Brad Pitt's performance is really magnificent, his acting draws you into his story and perspective. This movie is absolutely beautiful. David Fincher delivers yet another masterpiece.
